WILLIAM BUCK STRATTON, PEWABIC LUSTER POTTERY BOWL, C. 1936, H 3.25", DIA 8.25"

An early Pewabic Pottery bowl by the husband of Mary Chase Stratton (American, 1867-1961), William Buck Stratton. Having a luster glaze boasting copper and turquoise tones. Bearing a stamp, date (1936) and "WBS" inscribed to the underside. From the collection of Kathleen Dell, friend of Ella Peters (Mary Chase Stratton's bookkeeper).


Condition:
Good; natural inconsistencies to glaze, honest surface wear. CP
